way waaaaay back in February, which was a life time ago, i had the pleasure of setting foot in Granada. the Islamic gallery at the Met Museum has been my favorite since it re-opened in 2011. to see the intricate tile works in person in its palace setting was a dream come true. with the endless inspirations from the Alhambra, i started playing with some shapes and ideas for the next collection. by doing so, i'm re-living my experience by going over all the details in my mind. i am so excited to put all these ideas into wearable forms! stay tuned :)
